 Please read these terms carefully before booking, purchasing, or accessing any session, program, product, or community offered through this website or directly through Renee Tetrick. By proceeding with a booking or purchase, you agree to these terms in full.

These terms are written in English. For clients based in France, mandatory provisions of French consumer law (Code de la consommation) apply at all times and cannot be excluded by these terms. In the event of any conflict, those provisions prevail.

1. About This Practice

Renee Tetrick is a certified Breathwork Mastery Practitioner operating as a micro-entrepreneur in France and as Renee Tetrick LLC in the United States. Services and products are offered through www.reneetetrick.com and include:

•       1:1 and group breathwork sessions, and community breathes (in person or online)

•       Online programs (live or with live elements) and self-paced programs

•       Digital products (recordings, PDFs, meditations, frameworks, and other downloadable content)

•       Membership communities

All offerings relate to breathwork, body and breath awareness, inner development, inner awareness, and awareness-based systems and practices. Sessions are conducted in English and delivered in person or via an agreed online platform.

In these terms, "you" and "your" mean the person booking, purchasing, or accessing any service or product. "Renee Tetrick" means Renee Tetrick, operating as a micro-entrepreneur in France and as Renee Tetrick LLC in the United States.

2. Medical Disclaimer

Breathwork is intended as a supportive wellness and self-development practice and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, psychotherapy, or treatment from a licensed healthcare provider. Participation in any session, program, or digital product does not constitute a therapeutic relationship or clinical mental health treatment. Work in the areas of inner development and awareness-based systems is educational and exploratory, not therapy. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require clinical support, please seek professional help.

If you have a medical or mental health condition — including but not limited to a history of psychosis, psychotic episodes, schizophrenia, dissociative disorders, seizures or epilepsy, severe PTSD, cardiovascular concerns or conditions, or respiratory conditions — please consult your physician or mental health provider before participating in any breathwork session or purchasing any related program. If you have asthma, please have your inhaler available during sessions.

By booking a session or purchasing a program or digital product, you acknowledge responsibility for your own physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing throughout the experience, and confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, you are in appropriate health to participate. Renee Tetrick reserves the right to decline a booking, refuse access to a program, or end a session if, in her professional judgment, participation would not be appropriate given your circumstances.

3. Booking, Pricing, and Payment

Sessions may be booked through the website, by email, or via WhatsApp. A booking is confirmed when you receive written confirmation from Renee Tetrick. Group sessions and programs are confirmed once payment has been received in full. Under French consumer law, you are entitled to clear pre-contractual information before completing any booking or purchase; proceeding confirms that you have read and understood these terms and the relevant sales page.

All prices are as published on www.reneetetrick.com at the time of booking or purchase, quoted in euros (€) for France-based clients and may be quoted in US dollars (USD) for international clients, and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Pricing may change at any time, but changes do not affect bookings or purchases already confirmed.

Payment for 1:1 sessions is due before your session. Payment for group sessions, programs, and digital products is required in full at the time of booking or purchase, unless a payment plan has been agreed in advance. Under a payment plan, all installments are due on the dates specified, and you remain liable for all outstanding payments regardless of whether you continue to engage with the program. Renee Tetrick may suspend access where a payment is overdue and pursue outstanding amounts through appropriate legal channels.

Session packs must be used within 12 months of purchase. Unused sessions are non-refundable after this period, and packs are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Right of Withdrawal — French Consumers (Droit de Rétractation)

Under Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Code de la consommation, consumers based in France who purchase services, programs, or products online or at a distance may withdraw within 14 calendar days of purchase, without giving any reason, subject to the exceptions below.

•       Sessions and live programs: the 14-day period runs from booking confirmation. If a session or live program begins within that period at your request, the right of withdrawal is waived once it has commenced.

•       Self-paced programs and digital products: the right of withdrawal is waived the moment you access or download the content, provided you have given express prior consent. At checkout you will confirm: "I understand that by accessing or downloading this digital product or self-paced program, I waive my 14-day right of withdrawal and acknowledge that no refund will be available once access has been granted."

•       Community memberships: the 14-day period runs from when membership begins, and is waived once you access the community space within that period at your request.

•       Group sessions with a fixed, confirmed date are not subject to the right of withdrawal (Article L221-28).

5. Cancellation Policy

1:1 Sessions

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule; less notice, or a no-show, will be charged in full. If Renee Tetrick cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be offered an alternative time or a full refund.

Group Sessions and Community Breathes

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel; less notice will be charged in full. These sessions cannot be rescheduled, though you may transfer your place to another person with prior written agreement.

Programs

Once a program has commenced, payments are non-refundable. If exceptional circumstances prevent you from continuing, contact Renee Tetrick to discuss options; any accommodation is at her sole discretion.

Cancellation by Renee Tetrick

Renee Tetrick may cancel or reschedule any session, program, or event due to illness, technical failure, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond her reasonable control. You will be offered an alternative date or a full refund, and Renee Tetrick is not liable for any additional costs you incur as a result.

6. Digital Products and Programs

Digital products include recordings, guided meditations, breathwork audio, PDFs, workbooks, frameworks, and similar downloadable or streamable content.

Access and License

Purchase grants a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the content for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Ownership of the content is not transferred. You may not share, distribute, reproduce, resell, or otherwise make any digital product available to any third party without prior written consent.

Access Duration

Unless otherwise stated, access to digital products is provided for the operational lifetime of Renee Tetrick’s business, not the lifetime of any individual customer. "Lifetime access" should be understood accordingly; if the business ceases operations, such guarantees become void.

Technical Issues and Refunds

If a digital product link does not work or an incorrect product is delivered, Renee Tetrick will provide a corrected link or replacement at no cost. Once a digital product has been successfully accessed or downloaded, responsibility for maintaining access lies with you, and all sales are final — no refunds will be issued after access has been granted, consistent with Article L221-28 (France) and applicable US law. If a product is faulty or materially different from its description, contact Renee Tetrick within 7 days of purchase to discuss a remedy.

Program Content

Each program’s content and structure will be described on the relevant sales page at the time of purchase. Renee Tetrick may adapt or update content to improve quality or reflect best practice, provided the core offering remains substantially as described. Where live sessions are recorded and made available as replays, the availability period will be stated on the program page; not all live sessions are guaranteed to be recorded. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a suitable device, internet connection, and software to access program content.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Programs in the areas of breathwork, body and breath awareness, inner development, and awareness-based systems involve personal exploration and inner work. Results are subjective and vary significantly between individuals; no specific outcomes are guaranteed, and testimonials represent individual experiences only.

7. Sessions, Online Delivery, and Community Spaces

Online Sessions

Online sessions and live program elements are delivered via Zoom or another agreed video conferencing platform. It is your responsibility to ensure a suitable device, internet connection, and private space. You may not record any online session or live program element without the explicit prior written consent of Renee Tetrick and, in group settings, all other participants. Renee Tetrick is not responsible for technical difficulties on your side; if difficulties on her side prevent a session, an alternative time will be offered.

Community Memberships and Community Breathes

Community spaces and community breathes are open to adults 18 and over. Renee Tetrick may remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate, without refund, and may modify, suspend, or discontinue a community space at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

By joining a community space, you agree not to harass, intimidate, or demean other members; share another member’s personal disclosures outside the community; distribute, sell, or reproduce community content; or use the space for commercial solicitation without prior agreement.

Confidentiality

Everything you share in a 1:1 session is confidential, disclosed only where required by law or where there is a risk to your safety or others’. In group settings and community spaces, confidentiality applies to all participants, though Renee Tetrick cannot guarantee the confidentiality of other participants and encourages everyone to treat what is shared with care and discretion.

Safeguarding and Duty of Care

Renee Tetrick has a duty of care to all clients and will act appropriately if concerned about the safety or wellbeing of a client or third party. Where there is a risk to life, she may be required to break confidentiality and contact the relevant authorities or emergency services, only where necessary to protect safety.

8. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability

You accept that you are fully responsible for your own wellbeing before, during, and after each session, program, or engagement with any product or content offered through this practice. Breathwork is a powerful somatic practice; you may encounter stored emotions or past experiences during a session or while engaging with program content. This is normal, and you are always in control and can slow or stop your breath at any time.

Work in inner development and awareness-based systems may also surface emotions, memories, or realizations that require further support. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate support in place, including from licensed professionals where needed. You participate in all sessions and engage with all products and programs voluntarily and at your own risk, and you acknowledge that no specific outcomes are guaranteed and results vary between individuals.

Renee Tetrick is not liable for any adverse physical, emotional, or psychological effects arising from participation, provided services have been delivered in good faith and in accordance with relevant professional standards. Her liability to you in connection with any session, program, or product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other matter that cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law — including, for French clients, the provisions of the Code de la consommation.

Renee Tetrick currently holds professional insurance for her French breathwork activities with Foyht and professional indemnity and public liability insurance for US activities with Liberty Mutual Insurance.

9. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Renee Tetrick, her representatives, affiliates, and related third parties from any claims, losses, costs, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your participation in violation of these terms; any misrepresentation in your health screening or booking information; your violation of any applicable law in connection with your use of any service or product; any claim by a third party arising from your conduct in a group session or community space; or your unauthorized sharing, reproduction, or distribution of any digital product or program content.

For clients based in France: this clause applies only to the extent permitted under French consumer law and does not override your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, recordings, meditations, frameworks, methodologies, PDFs, program structures, and resources created and offered by Renee Tetrick — including content shared within community spaces and live sessions — remain her intellectual property.

Purchasing or accessing any service, program, or digital product grants you a personal, non-commercial license to use the content for your own development. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share any content with third parties without prior written consent; use content to create derivative works, courses, or services; record any live session without explicit prior written consent; or resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit any content. Violations may result in immediate termination of access to all services and products, and possible legal action.

11. Testimonials and Marketing

Renee Tetrick may invite your feedback following a session, program, or purchase. Any feedback or testimonial may be used for marketing purposes in anonymized form, unless you give explicit written consent for your name or identifying details to be used. Testimonials represent individual experiences and are not a guarantee of results for others. If you would prefer your feedback not be used this way, let Renee Tetrick know in writing.

12. Data Protection and Privacy (RGPD / GDPR)

Renee Tetrick protects your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), French data protection law, and the guidance of the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL).

Data Collected and Lawful Basis

Personal data may include your name, contact details, date of birth, address, and health information from your screening form; health data is special category data under GDPR, processed only with your explicit consent. Where you purchase digital products or programs, payment data may be processed by third-party providers — Renee Tetrick does not store your card details.

•       Explicit consent — for health and special category data (Art. 9 GDPR)

•       Contractual necessity — for booking and session administration (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)

•       Legitimate interests — for general business communications (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

•       Legal obligation — where required by French or applicable law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)

Retention, Your Rights, and Cookies

Your personal data and health screening information are retained for up to 3 years from your last session or purchase, after which they are securely deleted (financial records may be retained longer where required by French tax law).

Under GDPR and French law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data; object to or restrict processing; request data portability; withdraw consent at any time; and lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr). To exercise these rights, contact Renee Tetrick via www.reneetetrick.com.

The website www.reneetetrick.com may use cookies and similar technologies; non-essential cookies are placed only with your explicit consent via the site’s cookie consent mechanism. Your data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes, and is shared only where required by law or strictly necessary to deliver booked services (e.g., a video platform or payment processor); all third-party processors must comply with GDPR.

13. Communications and Third-Party Platforms

You may receive transactional emails related to your bookings or purchases, and — with your consent — newsletters and program updates. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting Renee Tetrick directly; this will not affect transactional communications related to active bookings.

The website and program materials may link to third-party websites, tools, or platforms provided for convenience only; Renee Tetrick does not endorse or take responsibility for their content or privacy practices. Where delivery involves a third-party platform (e.g., a video conferencing or community hosting tool), that platform’s own terms and privacy policy apply in addition to these terms.

14. Changes to These Terms, Governing Law, and General Provisions

These terms may be updated to reflect changes in services, applicable law, or best practice; the current version is always available at www.reneetetrick.com, and material changes affecting French clients will be communicated in advance as required by law. Continued use of the website or booking/purchase of any service or product after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

For clients based in France, these terms are governed by French law, and mandatory provisions of the Code de la consommation apply at all times and cannot be excluded. For clients based in the United States, services through Renee Tetrick LLC are governed by the laws of the applicable US state.

Under Articles L616-1 and R616-1 of the Code de la consommation, Renee Tetrick will provide details of a certified consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation) on request; you have the right to seek resolution through mediation before pursuing court proceedings. Disputes that cannot be resolved through mediation are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts (for French clients) or the competent courts of the applicable US state (for US clients).

General

If any provision of these terms is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed without affecting the remaining provisions. These terms constitute the entire agreement between Renee Tetrick and you regarding your use of the website and participation in any service, program, or product, superseding all prior communications and agreements on these matters. A failure by Renee Tetrick to enforce any provision at any time is not a waiver of that provision or of the right to enforce it later.
